Mc Kresha and Lyrical talk about leaving music: It's like in sports

The well-known Albanian rapper, MC Kresha, has long been rumored to leave music. He and Lyrical Son are undoubtedly one of the most iconic duos in Albanian music. But it seems they are really thinking about retiring from music.

"We see Hip-Hop music the same as sports. You can't make Hip-Hop music until you're 50-60 years old. There comes a moment when you say 'I'm fine'. It's got to be the turn of others, the generations to come We hope that they will be better than us and leave more traces than us." - said Mc Kresha in an interview for "Top Albania Radio".

For 1 year and 1 month they have made two albums, but will they come with a recital soon?

"We hope and we are working. But we are a bit of perfectionists and without reaching the level we want, we are not getting the courage," the artists said.

Earlier, Kresha himself admitted that he will leave music, as he has been part of the industry for years, and with the passage of time, he must leave room for new talents. Mc Kresha said in an interview that it does not seem normal for him to deal with hip-hop after becoming a father with many children.

"Hip-hop music should come out and I can sing 'come on, shake my heart,' and my son can listen to it, while he's 20 years old, for example. The idea is that if I become a family, I will not be able to be a proper parent to my children. And for me it is very important. Being a good parent to my children is the most important thing in the world. Everything has its own cycle, the public has raised me that I was good", explained Mc Kresha.
