How much coffee should you consume per day for good blood circulation?

Drinking three cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of heart disease or attacks, according to a recent study. Those who regularly consumed coffee had 12 percent less chance of dying at a young age, according to "The Sun".

The results of the study showed that people who consumed up to three cups of coffee a day had a healthier heart, which worked better. Also, coffee slows down the aging process.

Other health benefits are said to include protection against diabetes, liver disease and dementia, as well as burning body fat.

Researcher Dr. Judit Simon said: "Our results suggest that regular coffee consumption is safe and 0.5 to three cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of stroke, death from heart disease and death from another cause."

Dr. Simon and his team moderated 11 years of medical records of people who took part in the UK study, starting at an average age of 56.

They found that those who consumed coffee were 21 percent less likely to have a stroke. Those who drank more than three cups a day or no coffee at all did not enjoy the same benefits, researchers told the European Society of Cardiology Congress.
