I was doing a little party and we just talked, we became friends. Then for years, for three and a half years we were just good friends. We were in different relationships, it was a good friendship, and then we decided to break it all off. We come from different parts of the world, she's from Kosovo and I'm from New Zealand, they're very far apart, but our backgrounds were quite similar. We both grew up poor. The background of the New Zealand population is quite similar to the Kosovar community, as our sensibilities are quite aligned, I think."
