Who is Milojko Spajic, who is expected to be the prime minister of Montenegro?

The Europe Now movement was declared the winner of the early elections in Montenegro, with 25.5% of the votes won. Milojko Spajic is expected to be the new prime minister of the country, who will replace Dritan Abazovic, until now the technical prime minister.

But who is Milojko Spajic?

Spajic was born on September 24, 1987, in Pljevlja. He served as Minister of Finance and Social Welfare from December 2020 to April 2022, when the government was led by Zdravko Krivokapiq.

He completed his studies at Osaka University in Japan, for ecometry in the Japanese language as a scholarship holder of the Government of Japan.

Spajič completed his master's degree as a researcher in France at the HEC Paris business school. After graduation, Spajic worked in the United States on Wall Street, in Paris and Tokyo.

Before entering politics, Spajic also worked for "Goldman Sachs", a global banking group that deals with investment banking, securities trading and other financial services, mainly with institutional clients.
