Ambassadors of Several Western Countries Support Swiss Counterpart’s

The ambassadors of Germany, Great Britain, the USA, Italy, and France on Friday supported Swiss Ambassador Jean-Hubert Lebet, who last week strongly criticized Kosovo politicians, pointing out that they should not be paying fake veterans, while others invest in project of essential importance to the citizens of Kosovo (see VIPNews No. 6575).

Lebet’s counterparts, the ambassadors in Pristina, share the view that he said what everyone thinks, the Kossev portal reported.

German Ambassador to Pristina Christian Heldt posted on his Twitter account that the issue of how the authorities spend money is legitimate, considering that the taxpayer funds that other countries allocate for projects in Kosovo.

British Ambassador Ruairi O’Connell stated that it is time for “the people who love Kosovo to act against crime and corruption”, and the Italian embassy agreed.
