The leader of the opposition, Sali Berisha, has stated that Prime Minister Edi Rama is terrorizing administration employees to make 'likes' and comments on social networks.

He said that the Socialists have implemented an application to measure the activity of employees with 'likes' and comments on the posts of government officials.

Based on this situation, the chief democrat called on Mark Zuckenberg (Facebook) and Elon Musk (Twitter) to stop this abuse on their social networks, while adding that they will also present the issue to the international community.

"I call on Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and other media platforms to take away access to Edi Rama’s government because of the practice of abusing their global platforms. The recent example of using an app to control and terrorize ordinary employees calls for an intervention. The right to use such media should be canceled until this infamous citizen’s control application, called Akt1vist, is removed.

In defense of Albanian citizens, the Democratic Party will consider an international process against Edi Rama for this matter. This is terror, this is a shame, this is depersonalization. The Albanian government employees are monitored and lose their job if they don’t like their bosses on social media.  I give you this app you have to subscribe to, and if you don't like me, you are out of a job!  Such a shame!", stated Berisha, among other things.
