DP speaks against Tirana incinerator concession

The Democratic Party (DP) denounced on Wednesday as corrupt the concession for the incinerator to be built in Tirana. DP’s Jorida Tabaku said in a press conference that the High State Audit had found that the Rama government had manipulated the figures for the costs of the relevant public-private partnership.

“For this concession, Albanians will not pay €178mln as was previously declared in the contract, but an additional €118mln. Thus, a total of €296 for a concession whose true owners are hidden in fiscal heavens,” Tabaku said.
