Known by the nickname "giant", Rubin Molla was the first contact in Italy for drug suppliers from Albania.

From Bellinzago, with his mother, he moved across Ticino, to Turbigo, to sell cocaine to a family that ran the store in the Varesotto and Upper Milan area, to go as far as Emilia Romagna.

Rubin Molla, 30, of Albanian origin, was sentenced to 5 years and 4 months in prison and fined 22,000 euros in the court of Busto Arsizio.

According to Italian media , the "giant" was one of the 9 defendants tried by summary procedure for the operation "Boxes", completed in May 2020 by Legnano carabinieri with the seizure of 15 kilograms of cocaine and 330 thousand euros in cash, income from the sale. Three were released, while five others received sentences of up to 8 years and 8 months. Meanwhile, Rubin Molla's mother is nowhere to be found.

The drug dealers had created all the conditions to carry out their activity: black cars with double ends where to hide the drugs, boxes where to keep them, 7.65 pistols for each case and even a drug suppressor that one of them was built by Rubin's grandfather.

To defeat the gang, investigators began with a previous operation completed in 2017. From Legnano we reached Turbigo and from there to Novara suppliers: at the villa of an arrested person, where a white Peugeot 208 arrived in the yard.
