According to the Daily Mail, BBC presenter Mariam Mosiri raised her middle finger immediately after the report began, apparently not realizing in time that the live broadcast had started.

In the clip making the rounds on the Internet, Moshiri seems to understand what has happened, completely changes his facial expression and starts reading a news story about Boris Johnson.

"Live from London, watching BBC News," the presenter is heard saying.

However, the fact that moments later she said "coronaverse" instead of "coronavirus" in reference to the pandemic, suggests she may have been feeling nervous.

Some criticized the presenter for a lack of professionalism, and others expressed their understanding of the difficult situation in which she found herself.
