Fight between rival gangs in France, teenager is killed

A 15-year-old was stabbed to death this Monday, in Ézanville, in Val-d'Oise, during a clash between two rival gangs.

According to the mayor of Ézanville interviewed by BFM TV, the two rival gangs met outside George Sand High School in Domont, a neighboring town. Then the fight happened in the parking lot of a Picard store. This is where Kendi, a sophomore in high school, was stabbed.

" There would be a fight between this young man and the youth from Domont, dating back to last week over a trivial matter of sneakers. They had promised to meet again and he would be protected ," an elected official said about the origins of the fight.

The teenager Kendi was positively known by the commune of Ézanville. There was a young man who was very involved in youth ministry.
