The list of hostages offered to Israel by Hamas for release on Saturday has 13 names, multiple sources told CNN.

However, Israel has made it clear that it expects 14 people to be released on the second day of the temporary ceasefire in exchange for 42 Palestinian prisoners.

As their exit time approaches, there have been discussions about the final roster, including whether it will be 13 or 14 people, some of whom are expected to be children.

The head of the Palestinian Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, Qadura Fares, later said that 39 Palestinian prisoners are expected to be released on Saturday.

Yesterday - the first day of the temporary ceasefire - saw the release of 24 hostages, including 13 Israeli women and children in exchange for the release of 39 Palestinian women and children from three Israeli prisons.
