Tensions in the North, Russia reacts: the US and the EU are responsible

Here comes the reaction of the official Moscow after the tensions in the North of Kosovo.

Reuters reports that Russia blamed the United States and the European Union for the escalation of tensions in northern Kosovo and said it was viewing the situation with concern.

"We firmly condemn Pristina's provocative steps, which have brought the situation close to a heated stage and directly threaten the security of the entire Balkan region. The responsibility for this lies entirely with the United States and the European Union", emphasized the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, adding that the reprimands of Kosovo by "Western mediators" had come too late.
