As they have been rejecting the opposition's requests to set up parliamentary investigative commissions for months, today the SP has announced the filing of some amendments to the law on commissions in the Assembly.
It was the deputy Ermonela Felaj who said in a statement to the media that several additions and amendments to the law have been filed. She emphasized that the decisions of the Constitutional Court were not reflected in the law.
“I wanted to share an announcement with you. On behalf of the SP, as a deputy of the SP, I submitted the initiative for some additions and changes to the law of investigative commissions. I want to say that the product that was formalized that was filed as a bill is the product of several months of work. Since the beginning of the day, the Assembly has spoken about the need for a review of the investigation commissions, by the opposition and the majority. The decisions of the Constitutional Court are not reflected in this law. The conclusion of the work for investigative commissions, such as the issue of incinerators, from both representatives, the majority and the opposition, each of these representatives requested a review of the law on investigative commissions", said Felaj .
