Bardh Spahia meets with residents of Dajçi: Compensation for flood

The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Albania, Bardh Spahia, held a meeting with the residents of Dajçi, one of the areas with the largest emigration in the municipality of Shkodra.

In his Facebook post, Spahia stated that with the Democrats coming to power, compensation for the damage caused by the floods will be provided, and a solution to the electricity problem will be offered.

We discussed the problems they have been facing for years.

- The government's deception and complete oblivion of issues of major importance to them, such as the failure to provide compensation for flood damage to businesses/homes and ornamental plants, which affected around 15,300 homes in the city of Bahçalek and throughout Shkodra.

During the conversation, I assured the residents of this area that the Democratic Party government will compensate them just as it did in the case of the first flood.

- Another major concern for these residents, which I promised the DP government would resolve, is the lack of electricity and its disconnection every time a light breeze blows.

The lack of subsidies in agriculture, etc. were also topics of discussion.

- We talked about the registration and voting of the numerous family members and residents of this area in emigration, as well as the grand protest of February 8 in Tirana.
