Berisha on meetings with the diaspora: I have found determination to separate

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke about the meetings held with the Albanian diaspora.

Invited to News24, Berisha said that he has found an enthusiasm in the diaspora that he has not seen since 1990. The chief democrat said that he has a determination to separate Albania from the narco-dictatorship.

"I have found enthusiasm among Albanians abroad, an atmosphere that I have not seen since 1990. I would describe this atmosphere as unprecedented since 1992, such an explosive atmosphere, optimism and enthusiasm that I have found among Albanians abroad and the citizens of Shkodra that I have not experienced since 1992. An optimistic atmosphere and great determination to separate Albania from this great evil that is the narco-dictatorship, from this regime that is impoverishing and driving away Albanians ," Berisha said.
