Berisha meets the Head of the ODHIR Mission and political analyst Júlia

The President of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting with Ambassador Lamberto Zannier and political analyst Julia Manchin, where they discussed the upcoming elections and the necessity of a fair and closely monitored process.

The meeting was attended by DP Vice President Oerd Bylykbashi, DP Spokesperson Floriana Garo and General Campaign Director Ervin Minarolli.

Berisha stressed that Rama has never respected the Electoral Code – he has even described it as “Chineseness” and that he applies this principle fanatically.

"Public and secret vote buying, the electoral state, criminal electoral organizations are his illegal instruments of controlling the will of citizens," said Berisha.
The meeting also discussed the inclusion of women in politics through primaries and quotas guaranteed by the Electoral Code.
Meanwhile, ODHIR promises long-term international observers and hopes for a positive report on the elections.
