A hearing against Erion Veliaj will be held today at the Special Court.
At the hearing, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) is expected to inform the court about the 2-month investigation conducted against Veliaj.
Veliaj is accused of "Passive corruption of high-ranking state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration (9 times) and "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity".
He is also accused of "bringing prohibited items into detention cells."
