William Levy arrested, here's what he's accused of

Actor William Levy has been arrested in Broward County, Florida, on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and disorderly conduct.

Levy appeared in court Tuesday afternoon, where the judge set a $500 bond and ordered him to stay away from the area where the incident allegedly occurred.

As of late Tuesday afternoon, the actor was still in custody.

William Levy is known for his roles in popular Latin American telenovelas, such as 'Sortilegio' or 'La Tempestad', and for his appearances in several Hollywood films, including Tyler Perry's "Girls Trip" and "Addicted."

His arrest has caused numerous reactions on social media, adding attention to the case that is expected to develop further.

This is Levy's second legal incident in less than a year. Last year, police responded to a call from his ex-partner, Elizabeth Gutiérrez, after she claimed Levy was very drunk at his home.

At the moment, neither his ex-partner nor his children have commented on the situation on social media.

Also a year ago, Elizabeth Gutiérrez confirmed that they had separated after 20 years together.

"I've always been committed to my relationship. I loved William, I think it's no secret that he was the love of my life," Gutiérrez said.
