A shocking incident has come to light in Germany, where a 40-year-old doctor is facing serious charges for the murder of 15 patients, to whom he is suspected of administering lethal doses of medications, mainly as part of palliative care.

According to the prosecutor's office, the investigation began in 2024 after four suspicious deaths, but later led to the discovery of a much deeper scandal. The doctor is suspected of operating since 2021, while authorities are also investigating dozens of other suspicious cases.

The most shocking accusation is that the doctor attempted to cover up the crime, causing some of the victims' bodies to be burned in their homes to avoid investigation. The prosecution is currently preparing further exhumations to determine whether the number of victims is even higher.

The suspect, whose identity is not being released due to German privacy laws, has been in custody since August 2024 and has denied all charges. Meanwhile, authorities are reviewing all medical procedures he has undergone in several German states, while prosecutors are seeking a lifetime ban from practicing medicine.
