Diaspora vote, Berisha: The envelopes were filled in Albania

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made other accusations regarding the diaspora vote.

Invited to "Opinion" on TV Klan, Berisha said that the ballot envelopes from abroad were stuffed in Albania. The leader of the Democrats accused the Albanian Post of being involved in this process.

Sali Berisha:  The Diaspora is the most shameful farce in the history of a country. There was a contract with DHL, a private company with an international reputation. The company had a condition from us, in the contract, no subcontractors. Now, please wait a minute because they have all arrived, 90% of them have been filled from scratch.

Blendi Fevziu: Where are they packed? Are they packed here?

Sali Berisha: Here. Of course here. At the offices of the Albanian Post, you found out that the Albanian Post participated. Ilirjan Celibashi himself declared it.

Blendi Fevziu: Albanian Post?! How did Albanian Post fill out the ballots?! Where did it find the ballots?

Sali Berisha: Who gave it to him? The mother party. The Albanian Post is a segment of the Socialist Party. That's why we are talking about the state.

Blendi Fevziu: How will you enter the Albanian Post Office, the ballot papers are scanned with a security code and all?

Sali Berisha: Then excuse me, did you say here that there are 12,219 envelopes counted? The total should have been 11,800, so about 400 more are added. Let's continue. Counted...

Blendi Fevziu: Why did you decide to vote for the diaspora?

Sali Berisha: That is their constitutional right. The fact that Edi Rama violates their vote is his own business.

Blendi Fevziu: What guarantee did you agree to?

Sali Berisha: The guarantee was violated. The main guarantee was one, the delivery of envelopes in person. Two, DHL mail and no other subcontractors, all of these were blatantly violated.
