On May 25, 2022, at the Elbasan Civil Registry Office, a physical conflict occurred between two employees of this office. One of them, now a former employee, says that she has worked at this institution for 14 years and has not had such problems. But when the new colleague, Fatbardha Kume, arrived, she began to insult and bully her, which reached the point of physical violence.

The complainant says that she complained to the head of the civil registry at the time, but no action was taken. She then went to the Elbasan Police Directorate and OPGJ Ornela Leçku questioned her, took photos of her, and the woman received a 5-day report. After returning to work, the conflict situation continued and the complainant also lost her job.


The show "Stop" on TV Klan inquired with OPJ Ornela Leçka, who admitted that she remembers this case. She says that she has questioned the parties, examined the case, and passed the photos and materials to the prosecution.

OPGJ Ornela Leçka: The case has been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office. The letters have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office. I know the two girls normally because I am from Elbasan and I remember that I did the examination, I took them to the expert.

Journalist: Was she raped, was she traumatized?

OPGJ Ornela Leçka: I remember something, that we took a photo of him with the expert, but what signs he had specifically, I can't say, because of course I had case after case. I know that the photos were taken by the expert. I remember this because we were in my office when we took the photos. Then the letters were referred to the Prosecutor's Office.

In response to a letter, the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office states that it has registered the criminal proceedings and in 2023 it came out with the dismissal of the case. If the parties have claims, they should go to court./tvklan.al
