Tanja Kodra from Shkodra tells a shocking story of violence and insecurity that, according to her, continues even today after her separation from her husband. She turned to the show "Fiks Fare" for help, stating that she lives under constant threat and without any institutional protection.

"Now I don't live, he threatens me and follows me every day. I'm afraid for myself and my children," she says.

Tanja says that she was a victim of physical and psychological violence by her husband, to the point that she lost a pregnancy in the 8th week after the blows she had received: I had a hemorrhage for a month, and I lost the baby.

The ex-husband was sentenced to appear for two years after raping their young son, but according to Tanja, the violence has not stopped. He follows her, threatens her through messages and accuses her of offensive vocabulary.

"He follows me by car, he tells me he knows who he is going out with. I am afraid for myself and my children," she says

The Court of First Instance has given her custody of two children, but has decided that her father should meet her every day for an hour.

"I have appealed the decision. He is not capable of taking care of them," she says.

In an attempt to ask for help, Tanja also went to the Mental Health Center in Shkodra. The head of the center, after a conversation with the psychiatrist, tells her that he is a "terrible abuser" and a psychopath, a delinquent, but in the official report this doctor writes that he is "mentally healthy".
