The government's decision to delete or forgive administrative measures taken 3 days before the elections has entered into force starting this Wednesday.

The government's decision to cancel or waive administrative measures taken 3 days before the elections has entered into force starting this Wednesday. Published in the official gazette, the decision provides for all penalties imposed by 6 different inspectorates, including fines imposed by local and national territorial protection inspectorates, state and municipal police, and the national food and health inspectorates.

A procedure is foreseen for the implementation of this decision, which is expected to last between 60-80 days.

"The procedure for deleting or forgiving fines will begin with the preparation of lists by the relevant institutions. A copy of which will be passed on to the responsible directorates. Which within 30 days must carry out the deletion or forgiveness procedure for each individual or entity. And finally, they are notified that this deletion will also be registered in the system."

Individuals who claim that the administrative measure has not been repealed according to the decision in force must submit a request to the relevant institutions that imposed the fine.

Specifically, the beneficiaries of this decision are those individuals who have been fined for illegal construction for individual housing by the IKMT, the state or municipal police. Fines imposed by the AKU on agro-processing entities will be forgiven, as well as penalties from the health inspectorate for anti-Covid measures.

"The process of removal/deletion from the list of debtor entities, according to this decision, shall be completed within 60 (sixty) days from its entry into force, except for the case provided for in point 3 of Chapter III, for which the deadline for completing the process is 80 (eighty) days."

The administrative costs for carrying out the process of deleting unexecuted fines are borne by each institution.

The decision to waive the imposed fines will cover the period from January 1, 2015 to November 30, 2024. /Tch
