Tons of cocaine from Ecuador, Rama signed the "Visit of Poja" permit for the construction of a 10-story hotel

Details have been revealed from the investigative file regarding Operation "Bridge" that is taking place in Albania and Italy against international drug trafficking, money laundering and abuse of office. 

In the Italian file, details have also come to light regarding the figure of Elvis Doçi, also known by the nickname "Visi i Pojës", for whom there is an arrest warrant as part of the structured drug trafficking group that was hit by Albanian and Italian authorities.

A year ago, SPAK conducted searches in this citizen's apartment, where around 3 million euros in cash were seized.

Also known as the nephew of Xhevdet Troplini, Elvis Doçi managed to escape police custody, while he is accused of serious criminal offenses in the field of narcotics.

 With a quick search, it turns out that he owns several businesses in Albania. Among them, he runs the company "Eldemar Construction", which he owns 100% and whose object of activity is:

"Study, design, implementation of earthworks and masonry, concrete, reinforced concrete, undertaking of undertakings for the performance of construction and road, marine, hydraulic, electrical works of any kind, agricultural and forestry settlement, public greening and related public furnishings and their restoration and maintenance for own account or third parties. Employment services in various fields, Carpenter, ironworker, bricklayer, plasterer, plumber, electrician, brigade of specialists and unskilled workers, etc. Sale and purchase of various industrial goods. Import-export thereof. Trade within and outside the country of all types of animal food, import and export of various items and materials related to this activity. Carrying out any other type of economic, commercial activity."

AS the manager of this business, he has received a development permit for the construction of a 10-story hotel in Durrës in April 2024, while the permits are signed by the National Territorial Council, headed by Edi Rama.

" "10-story hotel with attic and 3 underground service floors", located in the Municipality of Durrës, with the developer being the company "Eldemar Construction" sh.pk" , the KKT announcement stated. 

The operation, codenamed "Bridge", is focused on cracking down on a structured criminal network suspected of trafficking heroin and cocaine from the Balkans to European Union countries.

It is reported that 52 arrest warrants have been issued in Albania and Italy on charges of drug trafficking, abuse of office and money laundering, while assets worth millions of euros have been seized.

According to Italian media, the list of arrest warrants also includes police officers, lawyers, and well-known names in the underworld, suspected of involvement in the trafficking network and abuse of office.
