Dashamir Shehi has resigned from the leadership of the Right for Development coalition.

In a press conference, together with Enkelejd Alibeaj, they admitted the defeat they suffered on May 11, after collecting only 5,530 votes nationwide.

The sheikh stated that it is his responsibility to admit defeat and mistake and pave the way for others.

"We lost the elections, so my mistakes yesterday, so I'm leaving, I'm paving the way for others. There was a positive element from all the elections, the new parties broke the siege yesterday, well done. I hope they produce better political synergy. That's the only good thing about these elections," said Shehi.
