A letter-order from Belgium has put the Berat police in motion. Officers have conducted checks in 4 premises.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested, and forged documents, electroshock weapons, and shotgun cartridges were found and seized in his apartment.
"As a result of the checks carried out in 4 premises, in cooperation with SPAK, BKH and the Berat Prosecutor's Office, in implementation of a letter of request from the Belgian authorities, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Section of the Berat DVP arrested citizen HV, 33 years old, in flagrante delicto.
In this citizen's apartment, in the "28 Nëntori" neighborhood, 1 identity card and 1 driver's license, suspected to be fake, were found, as well as 1 electroshock weapon and several shotgun cartridges.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
