Diaspora vote, Source: Process more symbolic than with real impact

Analyst Genc Burimi has described the diaspora voting process as more symbolic than having real impact.

" It was quite expected that on the first day when the voting list for the diaspora was made, it seemed that there would be a vote with symbolic value more than a vote with practical value.

Of the 1.8 million people considered to be residents in the diaspora who could vote, only 200,000 were registered. Not even 10% of the diaspora actually voted and were people who wanted to vote.

"My case was not a political conviction, my case was a journalistic duty ," Burimi said, among other things, speaking on Ora News.
