Don't lose face/ After Rama's 'threat', SP candidates

"The law is made by the evil one." Here, once again, the authority and fear that Prime Minister Rama has instilled in his political group were revealed.

Socialist candidates for MPs in the May 11 elections, Blerina Gjylameti, Etilda Gjonaj and Xhemal Qefalia, have withdrawn their request to the Central Election Commission to view the footage of the preferential vote counting.

Balla said today that the complaints are made by the party, but emphasized that candidates can make requests, but stated that transparency according to the Electoral Code is done by the CEC.

This action by the Socialist candidates comes after the message from Prime Minister Edi Rama, who a day earlier advised them not to do something like this, telling them that "losing a race should not be a reason to lose face."

Likewise, the head of government concludes his message by telling the candidates, "imagine for yourself how bad anyone who embarks on this path will feel, feeding the media's ego, when in the end the impregnated mountain may not even produce a mouse."

Rama's message:

I have sadly received notice of several individual initiatives, to request filming, recounts, and who knows what else regarding preferential voting!

Of course, I can't stop anyone from acting on their own, but since we are still a team in this window and I want us to stay that way, I would advise against going down that path.

Because first of all, losing a race should not be a reason to lose face, when in fact there is absolutely zero chance that with all those eyes on the screens, there will be vote deviations of such magnitude that they would fill anyone's gap with those who have emerged victorious not by 10 or 20, but by many more votes than the next in line.

Secondly, this means casting a shadow over our people, who have stood endlessly at the counting tables, and who do not deserve such a shadow of doubt for their great contribution.

And finally, imagine for yourself how bad anyone who embarks on this path will feel, feeding the media entity, when in the end the impregnated mountain may not even produce a mouse.
