The process of counting votes received from abroad for candidates on open lists has been completed for 11 districts of the country.
Meanwhile, the process of counting and evaluating preference votes is still ongoing for the Elbasan region.
Diaspora voters have cast their votes for specific candidates within the framework of preferential voting, and the results are now consolidated for the following districts:
Kukes, Shkodra, Diber, Durres, Fier, Tirana, Berat, Lezha, Vlora, Gjirokaster, Korca.
This is the first time that the Albanian diaspora participates in voting through a structured and monitored process, directly contributing to the selection of candidates within the electoral lists.
