Lubonja: The elections were not fair, the process in the diaspora unclear and

Analyst Fatos Lubonja spoke this evening about the completion of the process of counting the preferential votes of the diaspora.

Lubonja emphasized that the process with the diaspora is not transparent.

" I made a parenthesis that I do not believe in this electoral system. I do not believe that Albania holds fair elections with this regime. When I discuss this, it seems to me that I am making a facade for the regime. I will participate, because this is not only the work, but the word is left to us. I said that the diaspora for a simple reason is an indicator of what has developed in Albania.

The force, the state that controls the process that controls the administration, the economy, is not a free market. That controls justice, organized crime, that does not need the opposition, the police. All of these make the elections not fair. The OSCE ODIHR also said this. In this, when this process is controlled, even the collection of the diaspora vote, it was clear, I said there will be a coup in the diaspora. With a control, the votes are taken", said Lubonja.

Lubonja further added that the diaspora voting process may also have been manipulated, as the administration was asked to provide names of their relatives living abroad before the electoral campaign.

" We have data, people who talk to us. One of the forms, the people who work in the administration were told to bring us the names of those you have abroad. Bring us 5 or 10. The economic opportunities that the government has to go there. The process of selecting the diaspora voter itself. Someone got the envelope, someone didn't. These people have their people everywhere. The regime has them. We will do this analysis ," the analyst told News24.
