TKOB announcement

Today, the Choral Troupe of the National Theatre of Opera, Ballet and Popular Ensemble is quieter.
It has lost one of its most beautiful voices, soprano Redrina Kokona.
With a career spanning almost three decades, Redrina was an artist who inspired with her dedication and operatic spirit.
Graduated with excellent results from the University of Arts in Tirana, in 1998, she began her artistic journey with an unwavering passion for classical music and a voice that stood out from her first steps.
In 2000, she joined the TKOB Choral Troupe and has never left the stage since. She
was always there, at every concert, at every premiere, at every preparation and rehearsal, not only as part of the choir, but also as a voice that often stood out in solo roles, with an interpretation full of finesse and sensitivity.
The audience will remember her as Fiordiligi in the opera Così fan tutte, Frasquita in Carmen, Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Musetta in La Bohème, Anina in La Traviata and Una novitia in Suor Angelica.
In this moment of deep sorrow, we express our most sincere condolences to the family, children, colleagues and all those who love and appreciate Redrina as an artist and as a person.
Her loss leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts and on stage.
May her memory be unforgettable!
