In the criminal chamber of the Tirana Court, 5 minors were questioned as witnesses for the murder of Martin Cani near the "Fan Noli" school, by the accused perpetrator Mario Përlleshaj.

There were debates between the parties in the session, where prosecutor Alma Felaj faced the dissatisfaction of the parents of Luis Meçe, who was injured in the incident, regarding the investigations, where his father was forced by the court to leave the courtroom.

The debate began when talking about the day before the incident, where minors Martin Cani and Luis Meçe had been playing football in Kavajë, and were accompanied by Luis's parents on their return.

The courtroom discussed the possibility that the minors had argued on the phone with the other party in the evening, and the prosecutor suggested that "perhaps the parents were asleep." This prompted a reaction from Luiz's father, who addressed the prosecutor with the words: "You are sleeping with the file, our hearts are aching every day."

The next hearing was set for May 28th, where 8 more witnesses, minors who have knowledge of the event, will be questioned.
