Two people have been arrested by the Police in Vlora and Saranda, after they were caught red-handed with doses of narcotics, suspected of being intended for sale.

E.A., 18 years old, resident of the village of Çukë in Saranda, and A.R., 33 years old, resident of the city of Vlora, were arrested. According to the official announcement of the Police, their arrest is the result of an operation organized by the Narcotics Investigation Specialists of DVP Vlora, in cooperation with the Delvina Police and the Special Force "Shqiponja", based on the information provided on the operative route.

During the physical checks, several doses of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine were found on the EA citizen, which he allegedly possessed to sell in the city of Saranda. Meanwhile, A.R. was caught with doses of cannabis, prepared for distribution in different areas of Vlora.

The narcotics were seized as material evidence, while the procedural materials were referred to the relevant prosecutions, for further legal actions, under the charge of "Production and sale of narcotics".

The Vlora Police emphasizes that operations to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics will continue without interruption.
