Berisha publishes video: Voter lists and ballots were found in the village bar

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared today that in the village of Pekisht, Elbasan, in a bar-cafe owned by the mayor Dervish Beqiri, election materials and considerable amounts of money were found.

According to Berisha, the information was conveyed yesterday evening to the future MP for Elbasan, Blendi Himci, who this morning went to the premises of the bar and found ballot papers, voter lists and other election materials there, in a place suspected to be part of what Berisha called the "Bulgarian train."

Berisha stressed that the incident is similar to other cases previously reported in areas such as Kashari and Astriti, where, according to him, "alternative voting centers" set up in parallel with the official centers operated.

Berisha: The Bulgarian train remained at the Pekisht station, derailed and remained there. After information that the future Elbasan MP Blendi Himci received last night that in the village of Pekisht, in the cafe of the village elder Dervish Beqiri, a loyal observer of the SP, there are a considerable amount of voting materials, ballots, voting lists and narcoeuros.

As you have seen in the case of Kashari, Astri and other cases where Bulgarian train zones were set up parallel to the voting centers by patronage activists, this was a very widespread practice.

This morning, Mr. Imci went to Dervish Beqiri's coffee bar, went inside, and in the place where he had been informed, all the election material was found.
