The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, spoke in a public communication about the "Bulgarian train" denounced by the Democratic Party.

He said without hesitation that there must definitely be an investigation by criminal prosecution bodies, to provide answers to the public.

"We were not informed, but what I can say without hesitation is that the case should be investigated by criminal prosecution bodies, to respond to the concern raised publicly. Regarding the voting within the country, to my knowledge there are no disputes about the content of the summary tables of results," said Celibashi.
