New details from the "Bridge" operation are revealed: Adi Çoba and Elvis Doçi, the drug trafficking bosses Albania-Italy-Netherlands

New details from the "Bridge" operation are revealed: Adi Çoba

The joint operation carried out the day before by SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia of Bari, codenamed "Ura", has revealed a wide criminal network of international drug trafficking, where 52 arrest warrants have been issued in Albania and Italy. At the center of the investigations is Adi Çoba, the owner of the "Felix Vinum" company, identified as one of the main drivers of heroin and cocaine trafficking to Italy.

According to BW, Çoba is accused of organizing the sending and receiving of couriers transporting large quantities of drugs from Albania and the Netherlands in the direction of Italy. In this criminal activity, he worked closely with Elvis Doçi, another key name in the network, known for his role as a negotiator in the international narcotics trade.

"The members of the group, each consciously and actively, performed functions of storage and sale of the narcotic substance that came from abroad, for profit purposes. They had defined duties in receiving large quantities of narcotics in the ports of Albania and the Netherlands, storing and then distributing them in Italian territory, as well as administering payments and relevant logistics," the investigation file states.

Italian investigators have documented constant communications between Adi Çoba and other members of the group, including Elvis Doçi. The latter is also mentioned in the testimony of the repentant justice Nuredin Dumani, who describes Doçi as a skilled and trusted negotiator in drug trafficking bargains.

Operation "Bridge" is considered one of the strongest blows of recent months to organized drug trafficking with direct links between Albania, Italy and the Netherlands.
