The former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, has spoken to the media after the next session, where he asked the Special Court to partially repeat the act of expertise on the economic and financial damage of the "Gërdeci" case.

He stated that we are dealing with a political justice as the process has no constitutional and legal basis.

"If the Constitution of the country is not respected, if the law is not respected, if a process begins when it is prescribed, if the judges assume the attributes of the legislator to write the laws, instead of implementing and respecting the laws, I believe it is obviously not a matter of justice. We have a political justice.

I want to say that this is a process that has no constitutional and jurisprudential basis, and as long as it has neither of these two, I cannot give it another name. ", said Mediu.
