Conference of Speakers/White-majority: Seek to deny the opposition's right to speak
The Conference of Speakers was accompanied by debates between the majority and the opposition, as the two demands of the Democrats for the establishment of two investigative commissions, for the sterilization and leakage of TIMS data, were considered.
The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, said that the majority is trying to deny the right of speech to the opposition, violating the laws and articles of the Constitution.
Bardhi addressed his socialist colleagues that they do not have to have reservations for investigative commissions, as it is a right recognized by the law.
"If you have claims about the object, let's reformulate it. But you want to deny the right of the opposition, violating the constitution of Albania. You are violating every democratic principle, denying the opposition any space. It is the constitution that guarantees the opposition the rights to investigative commissions" , said Bardhi.
