The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, continued his tour of meetings with the residents of Tirana this Tuesday, stopping at unit No. 5, where he listened closely to the problems of the citizens.

During the meeting, Meta added that education in the capital is in a dire state and is one of the main reasons for families leaving Albania.

" Today I met with parents, residents of Unit No. 5 in Tirana, where I heard their voices regarding the problems that concern their families regarding education. The lack of nurseries, kindergartens, schools and poor quality and standards have become a daily concern for the residents of Tirana. Today, education in the capital is in a dire state and is one of the main reasons for families leaving Albania ," said Meta.

Meta accused the leaders of the local government and the central government of mismanaging the revenues collected from citizens' taxes, which go to incinerators and abusive tenders, instead of investing in education.

"The money that should have been used to increase the quality of education, the Municipality of Tirana wastes and steals it for incinerators that do not exist. We have decided to definitely change this situation, which is why we have declared education the top priority of the Freedom Party. Everything in function of a quality education for the children of Albanians, so that they can build their future in Albania ", said Meta.
