DP: The Ministry of the Interior has manipulated the lists, 35% of voters have moved to addresses known to the government

The Secretary for Legal Affairs in DP, Ivi Kaso, said in a statement to the media from the blue headquarters that the Ministry of the Interior has manipulated the lists, displacing about 35% of the voters of May 14.

Kaso stated that over 1 million voters have moved to addresses that only the government knows. According to Kasos, Edi Rama is repeating the manipulation technology of 20 years ago, when the government manipulated the lists in order for Rama to be elected mayor.

Kaso said that PD will inform ODIHR and all monitoring bodies to save the elections from manipulation.

The Ministry of the Interior has manipulated the lists, displacing no less than 35% of the voters of May 14. Put in precise numbers: a full 1,276,418 voters have moved to addresses known to the government, but not to the citizens. Although the Electoral Commissioner's Audit has revealed and highlighted this serious violation, which undermines the elections, the Ministry of Chuchi and Rama continues with the same plan that would turn May 14, not into an election day, but into a Google Maps that has get virus

This is the same scenario as in 2003, where the voting center was changed to voters without their request or approval. Edi Rama is repeating the manipulation technology of 20 years ago, when the government manipulated the lists to elect him as the head of the Municipality. It's a field he knows, and the only field where he wins is the ball. But this is not only Rama's invention and problem. If it continues on this path, it will be a new nail in the coffin of the May 14 election process.

The audit reports of election experts highlight that Çuçi has thrown the voter register into chaos in order to frustrate the voters, so that they do not vote on May 14. The Electoral Code clearly provides for the procedures of publication and written notification of voters, for voting centers in the relevant local units. The change of voting centers seriously violates the principle of legal security of the voter, and directly affects the right to vote. Voters have been notified once before about the voting center, and only when they show up at that center, they will learn that it has been changed. This will create queues and confusion during the voting process and, of course, will have the effect of making it difficult or hindering the exercise of the right to vote.

Ne nuk do ta lejojmë që kjo të ndodhë, dhe u kërkojmë organeve ligjzbatuese që ta ndalin këtë masakër mbi procesin zgjedhor.
