Protest from the municipality administration, Lela: SPAK and GJKKO themselves

The Director of Communications at the Democratic Party, Alfred Lela, spoke about the police's abandonment of the protection of judges and special prosecutors on the day that the thief mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was being tried.

In an interview with "Ora News" he said that Municipality employees, under political orders, had gathered in front of the doors of SPAK and GJKKO, which caused quite a few reactions today from these two institutions.

"The SPAK and GJKKO themselves had identified where the police violated the law and they are evident and I think the essence of the discussion is why these violations were committed?!

Were they intentional or accidental? Because there was a clear stance to pretend that no one understood why there was such a big fuss.

"Regarding the photo between Benet Beci and prosecutor Arben Kraja, it seems as if the treatment of mayors is done with double standards," Lela emphasized.

Regarding Erion Veliaj's claims from prison that there is no evidence against him in the SPAK file, Lela emphasized that what results is Veliaj's hypocrisy towards his SPAK "colleagues".

"So a 180-degree change in his positions in relation to the SPKA prosecutors. This itself also shows his discomfort, where in a not-so-distant period Veliaj held diametrically opposed positions, that's enough to not read the file at all, because everyone immediately thinks that there is something in this file that changed his mind. Another file of Mr. Veliaj is being written by Mr. Veliaj himself, or even in the case of Mr. Rama, and these files are precisely their positions towards SPAK and the discomfort that justice has already caused these people ," Lela emphasized.
