The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has commented on the rejection by the Assembly of the decision of the Constitutional Court for Olta Xhaçka.

Meta hoped that the decision is a very serious coup against the fundamental law of the state.

Question: The majority does not send the mandate of Olta Xhaçka to the Constitutional Court, how do you comment on this?

Answer: It is a coup. In Albania, there has been a continuous coup d'état, and this is an expression of the fact that the country is totally captured by Edi Rama.

You know my reservations about the Constitutional Court itself, about its integrity, which was severely damaged by that whole process, since the formation of the Constitutional Court began.

I don't want to take you back to the oaths that were taken at the notary at Lana, or to the law to remove the oath before the President of the Republic, according to the Constitution, that overthrew Venice and the people.

Or, and many other acts. This shows, once again, that we are dealing with a regime, and we must organize ourselves, as we should, to fight the regime.
