Tabaku: The promise of salary increases was campaign advertising

Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku declares that the government's delay in raising salaries for the administration is pointless.

In a post on Facebook, the deputy writes that the promise of a salary increase was unpaid campaign advertising and was not based on correct budget calculations.

"The government's delay in increasing salaries for 185,000 public administration employees who have had no salary increase for 10 years and has been advertising them since December is senseless. This shows that the salary increase promise was unpaid campaign advertising and was not based on correct budget calculations.

I don't know how to understand the Minister of Finance who has been saying for months that the money is there, that the effects have been calculated, that it will come into effect today and tomorrow.
Incompetence and proud insistence on it should not be an excuse for delaying a law passed in parliament and enacted.
The Minister of Finance, who messes up the accounts, is incapable of managing the Albanian tax coffers," she wrote.
