Tabaku next appeal to the government: Choose justice for free professionals!
The DP MP who sent the Self-Employed Tax to the Constitutional Court has reacted once again on social networks through a post.
Tabaku has once again requested that the government undertake a brave and honest act towards the middle class by returning the paid installment, which totals 10 million euros.
She reminded the government of the scheme that was used during the pandemic where the government decided to return the tax installments to the enterprise.
Tabaku underlined that such an act would be fully in line with the decision of the Constitutional Court.

???? A Call to Government: Choose Justice and Honesty!
A clear ruling by the Constitutional Court has struck down the Self-Employed Tax, undoing an irrational and anti-business tax that the majority and socialist government hastily approved a year ago. This decision gave the right to middle-class employees who, through their professions, honor our country and provide income to their families.
But unfortunately, under the pressure of the socialist government, 10 thousand free professionals paid the installment for a tax that today is unconstitutional by court decision. It is up to the government to rise to the level of protecting the interests of the citizens by acting quickly and fairly towards those who unfairly took over 10 million euros in taxes from their pockets.
It should return those millions of euros from the pockets of Free Professionals through a simple government decision, just as it was done during the COVID-19 pandemic. That would be enough to return 10 million euros to the pockets of 10,000 free professionals today, a negligible amount for the budget, but which is a lot for the wallet of the middle class and the budget of their families.
This is a simple solution. Will this government be on the side of the Rule of Law respecting the decisions of the Constitutional Court, or on the side of injustice and dishonesty that are the weapon of a minority government at the expense of the majority?!
We, as the opposition, have made our choice clear; we are on the side of the middle class and those 30,000 free professionals who work and invest in their profession, giving Albania the oxygen of small entrepreneurship that it has lacked for so long.
