"Let's say 'no' to this economic model", Tabaku: Diaspora will demand rotation on May 11th!

"Let's say 'no' to this economic model", Tabaku:

Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, has published a video on her social networks, where she analyzes the reasons why Albanian immigrants are expected to support the Democratic Party in the upcoming elections.

In her message, Tabaku emphasizes that one of the main reasons is related to the pockets of emigrants, who work and contribute every day to support their families in Albania. According to her, emigrant remittances have increased significantly, not as a result of economic development, but due to the depreciation of the euro resulting from money laundering and corruption.

"A few years ago, in 2020, Albanian emigrants brought back around 670 million euros for their families. Today, this figure has reached 1 billion euros, 300 million euros more. But this is not due to economic or market growth, but as a result of money laundering that has devalued the euro," says Tabaku.

She emphasizes that Albanians living abroad work harder, get tired more, and send more money to their families, due to this situation created by corruption and the current economic model.

Tabaku concluded her message with a call for change on May 11, emphasizing that it is time to say "no" to this economic model and the current governance.

"The diaspora, which has felt the consequences of this government on their shoulders, are among those who will demand change and rotation on May 11," she concluded.
