Cost of living puzzle: Income per capita is 35% of the European average, prices

The vice president of the Freedom Party, Erisa Xhoxho, has reacted regarding the increased cost of living for Albanians.

In a post on Facebook, Xixho writes that while the per capita income is 35% of the European average and where 60% of the family budget goes to food.

In the Albanian market there are products that are sold at a price 212% higher, or over 3 times the price sold by the same company in the European country it comes from.

Xixho adds that the money does not go to help the needy or pensioners, but to the corruption rampant in the streets of Florinj.

Full post:

Tirana is the city with the highest cost of living, as it has already turned into a money laundering center and has nothing of a city that serves people.

Citizens travel for miles to buy food and other consumer products for free

• The average price of products in the Albanian market is about 80% higher than the average price of the same products - sold by the same companies, in the EU markets

• In the Albanian market there are products that are sold at a price 212% higher, or over 3 times the price sold by the same company in the European country it comes from

All this in a country where the per capita income is 35% of the European average and where 60% of the family budget goes to food.

All this at a time when 2.1 billion lek have entered the government coffers, through VAT, as a result of price increases and not from good administration.

There is money, but it does not go to the needy or the pensioners, but goes to the galloping corruption with the golden streets, to the 5 D directors or the non-existent incinerators.

This regime that robs the citizens and the assets of the country must be punished as soon as possible!
