Zhupa condemns Majko's behavior towards Eksiola Shehu: The resolution for the protection of women journalists should be reinstated
DP MP, Ina Zhupa, has raised her voice in the Assembly regarding a serious incident involving journalist Eksiola Shehu, who is pregnant.
Zhupa said that the act of the SP deputy, Pandeli Majko, who pushed the journalist, is a clear example of violence against women that is supported by the current government.
She asked for the return of the resolution for the protection of women journalists, underlining that violence against women, especially against the most fragile ones, is increasing and the majority is ignoring this disturbing reality.
Zhupa: Since you are not aware, I am telling you that journalist Eksiola Shehu, who is also pregnant, was pushed by SP deputy Pandeli Majko and this is an unacceptable behavior that this Assembly refused to accept when it was led by Lindita Nikolla. to make a resolution for women journalists adding to the cases in which female journalists are violated precisely because they are the most fragile and in the eyes of a masculinist majority that has been indoctrinated by the symbol of violence that is Edi Rama they can do anything to women . I ask that the resolution to protect women journalists be brought to attention.
