Will the African heatwave continue? The forecaster makes the weather forecast

The month of August is not expected to bring the extreme heat wave we experienced in July.

In a direct link to Klan News, forecaster Lajda Porja says that we will have 1 or 2 days during August when the thermometer will approach 39 or 40 degrees, but this situation will be in 2 or 3 regions of the country. Lajda says that August will be hot, but not with extreme values.

"It is not predicted that we will have a wave that will last this long. We will have 1 or 2 days where the thermometer will approach 39 or 40 degrees, but it will be some areas, 2 or 3 counties and not the entire Albanian territory, or the whole coast line or the low area. While July kept it quite busy for almost 3 weeks with quite high temperatures.

So, if I were to specify in one sentence, August will be hot and not too hot with extreme values. We will only have 1 or 2 days where it will be overcast in some areas, however the rest will be, 34-35 degrees. Generally, these will be the August values. It is predicted that at least until the 15th, we do not expect to have a real system of cloudiness and precipitation that covers the entire territory, but only isolated showers that last no more than 30 or 40 minutes," said Lajda.
