Tragic accident in Berat, a 30-year-old woman loses her life, her 2-year-old

A serious accident was recorded this Friday afternoon on the "Berat-Dimal" road axis, in the village of Morava, where a vehicle hit a pedestrian and her child.

According to Police reports, the incident occurred at around 18:35, when citizen AT, 25 years old, driving his vehicle, hit citizen L. Gj., 30 years old, and her 2-year-old child. Unfortunately, the 30-year-old woman lost her life due to serious injuries, while her child is out of danger.

The driver of the vehicle has been escorted by the police for further procedural actions. Meanwhile, the investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes that led to this tragedy.

Authorities have called for increased traffic caution, while investigations into the accident continue.
