The new archbishop of the Albanian Catholic Church brings together Rama, Meta

The inauguration ceremony of the new Archbishop of the Albanian Catholic Church Arjan Dodaj has brought together the most important political figures in the country. 

The ceremony was held at St. Paul's Cathedral in Tirana, while the highest heads of state were also present. Apparently, the Prime Minister Edi Rama was present, accompanied by his wife, Linda, President Ilir Meta and the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha.

Also present was Tom Doshi, known as a Catholic believer and a regular attendee of masses in cathedrals.

Monsignor George Frend resigned from the pastoral care of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Tirana-Durrës and appointed the Archbishop of Tirana and Durrës his assistant Arjan Dodaj. Monsignor Gerorge Frendo held the post of Archbishop of Tirana and Durres for 5 years since his appointment on November 17, 2016.
